CIRCUIT OF ART GALLERIES OF CATALONIA

TERRES, enllosats, mosaics, llambordes. Carles Cabanas
Sometimes the structures of cities, with their load of cement, iron and other elements that make them up, can make us heavy, oppressive and even unpleasant. But there are times when walking through its streets, squares, visiting churches, going down stairs or just walking, if I entertain myself looking at the ground where I pass, you can see — with the complicity of light and shadow, of the colors, the drawing of the paving stone or even a puddle of rain — a string of shapes, colors and textures that make us discover their hidden beauty and at the same time reconcile with them.

LA ETERNA: Patricio Reig
The foundation of this work in progress is a constant review of the ways of doing, seeing and understanding the figure of the woman. This series, which began a few years ago, is approached in a different way (in terms of technique) and does not stop raising questions or suggesting proposals. Photography as a link and as a solution is posed as part of the content but not as an end in itself. Currently the series has incorporated color elements that serve as triggers for the tension of the piece. All papers are the product of the intuitive search for a material that is able to convey a specific atmosphere anchored in the present, but with a resounding appreciation of the past. Documents, letters, envelopes ... "The Eternal" is therefore a series without an apparent ending.

EL FONS DE L'ESGUARD:
Leopoldo Samsó
Leopold Samsó, best known for his portraits of well-known personalities from culture and art, presents on this occasion a much larger corpus of his work. The Barcelona of the 70's and 80's, as well as different stories, reveal the most essential intentions. His photographs are serene, intimate reflections in which the light and the frame, typical of a Renaissance artist, lead us to contemplation. That moment when depth and superficiality subtly merge into the present.
