The multiverse is a hypothetical set of multiple more or less independent universes and that would include ours. Sometimes the different universes of the multiverse are called parallel universes. The development of quantum physics and the search for a unified theory (quantum theory of gravity), together with the development of string theory, have hinted at the possibility of the existence of multiple dimensions and various universes. The structure of the multiverse, the nature of each universe and the relationships between the different components, depends on the considered multiverse hypothesis.

From this definition we can develop a linear hypothesis of the second edition of the Lumínic Festival, based on the creation of parallel realities from photography, working on topics such as the different layers of reality, the conception of space. -time, generation of alternative realities and the latent image among others.
